The Verdict

Choose Didit as your Onfido (Entrust Identity Verification) alternative if you run a fintech, marketplace or crypto business and want to budget onboarding from a public price list, then add AML, business verification and monitoring on the same record.

  • Headline price: full KYC is $0.33 per completed check (ID $0.15, passive liveness $0.10, face match $0.05, device/IP $0.03), or $330 per 1,000 checks.[9]
  • Operational breadth: document, liveness, face match, device/IP, email and phone signals, AML and ongoing monitoring, transaction monitoring, wallet screening, KYB with linked owner KYC, and an Investigator agent, all on one account and one record.[9][21]
  • Public trust: only provider formally attested by an EU member-state government (Spain's Tesoro / Banco de España / SEPBLAC) as safer than in-person verification; SOC 2 Type 1 & 2 and ISO/IEC 27001; 3,000+ companies in production.[27][29]

Last updated: 27 October 2026 (Entrust sources checked 25 and 27 October 2026)

Onfido is now part of Entrust and sold as Entrust Identity Verification.[3] This guide sets Entrust's contact-sales route against Didit's published per-check prices, so you can see what your own volume would cost before talking to anyone.

Budget: Didit's published price at three volumes

The table prices one completed full KYC check per user: document verification, passive liveness, 1:1 face match and device/IP analysis.[9] Didit charges per successful check.

A worked budget for the connected workflow

Didit's case is strongest when onboarding, screening, monitoring and review share one record. This hypothetical basket shows the monthly cost of that connected flow at three sizes. The counts are illustrative assumptions, not measured usage.

Crypto teams can add wallet screening at $0.15 per wallet check.[19] Other modules, taxes, credits, discounts and annual ongoing AML monitoring are excluded; no government database or eID checks are in this basket.

Entrust's documented equivalents and where Didit goes further

Entrust documents a no-code workflow builder, identity verification and watchlists. Didit pairs those with published per-check prices and a wider connected platform covering KYB, transaction monitoring, wallet screening and autonomous investigation.

Six national eIDs and government databases

Didit verifies identity three ways in one flow: document capture, a non-document lookup against an authoritative source, and national digital IDs.[11] Six schemes are live today:[12]

  • MitID: Denmark
  • BankID Sweden: Sweden
  • iDIN: Netherlands
  • Finnish Trust Network: Finland
  • Smart-ID: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Belgium
  • Mobile-ID: Estonia and Lithuania

Government database validation runs as an extra check on top of document, liveness and face match, in 45 countries plus a Global group.[13]

Business verification with linked owner KYC

Didit's KYB returns registry data, ownership and UBOs, officers, key people, business AML, documents and risk assessment. Each owner gets a linked KYC on the same account, so company and people records stay together.[21][22]

Monitoring, crypto and review operations

Transaction monitoring alerts link back to the verified user, so an alert opens onto the same record that onboarded them.[18] For crypto businesses, Travel Rule support covers IVMS 101 messaging, a VASP directory, counterparty due diligence, a wallet address book and ownership proof.[20]

Case management gives four-eyes review with every check's evidence on one record. The Investigator agent reads verifications, alerts and cases and writes a cited report with a recommendation, deciding alone only within your policy and autonomy level.[23] Every check's result, extracted fields, images and warnings come back in one API response, with webhooks and compliance PDF reports. Copilot builds workflows, questionnaires and database validation inside the console.[25]

Public proof

  • Government attestation: only provider formally attested by an EU member-state government (Spain's Tesoro / Banco de España / SEPBLAC) as safer than in-person verification.[27]
  • Certifications: SOC 2 Type 1, SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO/IEC 27001.[27]
  • Adoption: 3,000+ companies in production.[29] Coverage of more than 220 countries and territories and 14,000+ document types is a separate figure.[10]
  • Customer example: in AhoraCrypto's published story, the company reports more than 20% savings per user compared with its previous verification provider and a reduction of over 50% in time spent on manual user reviews. These are that customer's own results.[28]

Migration from Entrust (Onfido)

  1. Pilot a traffic share. Send a portion of new onboarding traffic to Didit while the rest stays where it is, then widen the share as results meet your criteria.
  2. Configure the setup. Map your current workflows, result statuses (Entrust reports clear/consider outcomes[5]), rules, cases and webhooks to their Didit equivalents. This configuration is separate from importing history.
  3. Dry-run the import. Use the import verifications API (POST /v3/session/imports/) with a workflow_id, a status_mapping and dry_run enabled. It takes file input.[26]
  4. Import and reconcile. A PENDING response means the job was accepted, not completed. Wait for a terminal job status, then reconcile the created, updated, skipped and failed counts against your source records.

Pilot evaluation criteria: cost per completed verification against the table above; completion rate for your users; share of cases routed to manual review and time spent per review; webhook and status mapping accuracy; reconciled import counts; and how quickly your team builds and changes workflows in the console.

One account, one record from onboarding to monitoring

For fintech, marketplace and crypto teams leaving a contact-sales IDV vendor, Didit is the direct recommendation. It covers KYC, KYB, fraud signals, AML, transaction monitoring, wallet screening and Travel Rule on one record. The Investigator agent ($0.20 per reviewed item), Copilot and an OAuth 2.1 hosted MCP server handle the review work. Open the console and start building without a sales call. From 1 November 2026, the Free plan includes $10 of credit every month; see the pricing announcement.[30]

Notes: all Didit prices are USD list prices per unit (per completed check, per transaction, per reviewed item) and exclude taxes, prepaid/volume discounts, credits and modules not named. Government database, national eID and NFC checks are charged separately from the $0.33 bundle. Phone verification is $0.04 plus carrier fees. KYB starts at $2.00 when you select a business and does not cover every KYB check; see the KYB price list for the checks you enable. A signed national eID result does not by itself include a selfie match; add liveness and face match to the same workflow where your policy needs it.
