Didit vs GBG greenID: database checks beyond Australia and NZ
Didit vs GBG greenID from public pages: register checks in 45 countries plus a Global group against DVS and NZIICS rails, published prices against Order Form terms, and monitoring, KYB and agents in one account.

In short
Didit vs GBG greenID comes down to where the database checks reach and what you pay for them. Didit documents government and authoritative database checks in 45 countries plus a Global group, inside the same account as the document, the selfie, KYB, AML, transaction monitoring and wallet screening, each with a published list price. greenID's product terms set dataset charges for the Initial Term in the Order Form.[1][8][9]
- The government services greenID's product terms name are Australia's Document Verification Service (DVS) and New Zealand's NZIICS.[1] Didit's catalog covers Australia and New Zealand and also Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama, South Africa and more; in Argentina, Nigeria, Panama and South Africa the selfie is matched to the register photo.[9][10]
- greenID's terms invoice any shortfall against an agreed Annual Commitment.[1] A full Didit KYC check is $0.33 and AML screening is $0.20, paid per check from prepaid credits.[8]
- Didit is agentic: the Investigator agent writes a cited report for each item in review, Copilot builds workflows by conversation, and your own agents operate Didit through MCP.[22][23][25]
This comparison is for teams running onboarding for an Australian or New Zealand lender, wallet, wagering operator or fintech that now has customers, owners or money outside those two countries. The person still has to be matched against an authoritative record, but the record may now sit in Buenos Aires, Lagos or São Paulo rather than Canberra.
GBG sells greenID, an Australian and New Zealand identity verification service that matches customer details against government and commercial data.[2] We build Didit, so read this as our side. Every GBG fact below is cited from GBG's own pages, read on 25 October 2026.

Government database checks beyond Australia and New Zealand
greenID's product terms define it as an online system that compares claimed identity information against database sources reached through direct licence, licensed copy, Australia's DVS or New Zealand's NZIICS.[1]
Didit documents each government and authoritative database check per country, with the inputs it needs, the fields it returns and its prerequisites. Didit's catalog documents government and authoritative database checks in 45 countries plus a Global group: a government register in most countries, and a credit-bureau, financial-services, utility or residential file in some.[9][10] The checks run inside the same workflow and API as the document and the selfie. Where the national register holds a photo, as in Argentina, Nigeria, Panama and South Africa, Didit matches the user's selfie against it.[10] Didit shows match coverage and median and 95th-percentile response time for every country and database you use.[11]
| Country and register | What you send | What comes back |
|---|---|---|
| Argentina, RENAPER | Document number, gender, selfie | Names, date of birth, tax ID, face match score[9] |
| Brazil, CPF + face match | CPF and a selfie, with recorded consent | Names, date of birth, name match score[9] |
| Mexico, CURP | CURP | CURP status, names, date and state of birth[9] |
| Nigeria, BVN (banking-industry database) | BVN and a selfie | Names and date of birth, only after the selfie matches[12] |
| South Africa, Home Affairs | National ID number | Register photo to match against the selfie[9] |
Australia and New Zealand in the same catalog
Didit's catalog lists Australian services for driver licences, passports, visas and VEVO, ImmiCards, Medicare and Centrelink cards, birth, citizenship, change-of-name and marriage certificates, the electoral roll, a credit bureau, superannuation and payroll, and a death check. In New Zealand it lists births, citizenship, passports, driver licences and a death check.[9][13][14]

Pricing: a published list against an Order Form
Didit publishes a list price for each module, with database checks priced per country, and charges a session only for the checks it runs. A full KYC check (ID verification, passive liveness, face match, and device and IP analysis) costs $0.33. AML screening is $0.20, ongoing AML monitoring is $0.07 per profile per year, passive liveness alone is $0.10 and a business registry check is priced from $2.00 per business.[8] Didit's workflow builder shows each step's price while you build.[27]
greenID's published product terms work differently. Dataset charges for the fixed Initial Term are agreed between the parties and set out in the Order Form. Where the customer agrees an Annual Commitment, GBG invoices any shortfall, payable within 14 days. Terminating for convenience during the Initial Period incurs the charges payable for the remaining period, and after it 90 days' notice applies. When a data supplier changes its pricing, GBG gives ten days' notice to consider the revised proposal.[1]

greenID's product terms, read 25 October 2026, define the Annual Commitment and list the DVS among its Databases.[1]

The fraud half: monitoring and wallet screening on the same identity
GBG sells transaction monitoring as a fraud-protection product that uses AI and machine-learning models, on its own product page, and greenID's KYC page describes continuous monitoring of transactions and account activities.[4][5] greenID's product terms define greenID itself as identity verification against database sources.[1]
On Didit, monitoring runs on the identity you already verified, in the same console. Didit scores every transaction against real-time rules at $0.02 per transaction[8] and opens alerts and cases next to the KYC record.[15] Didit ships over 150 preset transaction-monitoring rules, including iGaming presets for bonus abuse and chip dumping.[16] When a rule flags a transaction, Didit can hold it and ask the user for one selfie, matched against the face they already verified.[17] Didit drafts SAR, STR and other FIU reports from the case and exports them as goAML XML and PDF for your filing.[18]
Crypto wallets
Didit screens any crypto wallet address on demand for $0.15 per check, with a signed PDF report.[8][19] The screening runs on blockchain-analytics providers, ordered and billed in the same Didit account. Wallet screening is not documented on GBG's public pages (checked 2026-10-25); its crypto and FX page covers identity, biometrics and fraud controls.[6]
Agents that do the review work
Didit is agentic: it automates the compliance work that usually needs another analyst. The Investigator agent reads each verification, transaction alert or case waiting for review, writes a report with a recommendation and cites every piece of evidence it used. It decides on its own only within the policy and autonomy level your team sets, it never files a regulatory report, and every action is logged.[22] It runs on Didit's Growth plan and above, Didit enables it per organization, it is not available in sandbox, and it costs $0.20 per reviewed item. A support agent answers your users' support conversations from $0.02 per message.
Copilot works inside the Business Console. Describe the verification flow you need and Didit Copilot builds a validated draft workflow, citing the documentation it used; it also creates questionnaires and database validation steps.[26] Publishing requires your confirmation, and when it edits a workflow, a change card lists what changed and Undo reverts it.[25]
Your own agents connect through Didit's hosted MCP server at mcp.didit.me, over OAuth 2.1 with Log in with Didit. There is no API key to paste.[23] Your AI agent can create, backtest and install transaction-monitoring rules through the Didit MCP, then hand them to you in test mode, and it can explain why a session was declined by tracing the warning, status rule or reviewer override behind it.[24] An MCP server or agent tooling for greenID is not documented on GBG's public pages (checked 2026-10-25).[3]

KYB with a KYC for every owner
GBG's business verification automates company screening and director and UBO discovery.[7] On Didit, the business check and the people behind it live in one record. Company registry checks cover 220+ countries and territories, and you choose per country how much registry data you buy: company profile, shareholders, or ultimate beneficial owners. Business verification is priced from $2.00 per business.[8][21] Didit checks each declared owner and officer against the company's own documents, then screens them and sends each one a linked KYC.[20]
- The companyRegistry check and entity AML
- OwnerBeneficial ownerConfirmed, screened, linked KYC
- OfficerDirectorConfirmed, screened, linked KYC
- HoldingParent entityShareholder data where the registry holds it
- Owner
One business verification, one linked KYC for each declared owner and officer.[20][21]
Modular workflows and the evidence behind every decision
Didit's workflow builder shows each step's price while you build, and branches can merge back into one path, so a regional branch for Australia and another for Latin America can rejoin before AML screening.[27] Didit's workflow editor flags a branch that contradicts the outcome it routes to, before you publish.[27]
Every Didit session decision returns each check's result, the extracted fields, the capture images and videos, and the warnings behind the decision, through one API call.[28] The structure of greenID verification results is not documented on GBG's public pages (checked 2026-10-25).[1]
Testing before you sign anything
Didit's Test mode lets you pick the verification result first, so your tests can assert it.[29] A public greenID API reference and a self-serve sandbox are not documented on GBG's public pages (checked 2026-10-25).[3]
