Didit Raises $7.5M to Build the Infrastructure for Identity and Fraud

FrankieOne alternative, one platform instead of an orchestration layer

FrankieOne built a genuinely broad KYC and AML orchestration network out of Melbourne, so one integration reaches a long roster of Australian data suppliers. The cost of that breadth is structural. Its own data-source licence page asks you to accept each supplier's end-user terms one by one, a platform fee sits on top of every supplier's per-check fee, a check that fails at a supplier FrankieOne does not operate is harder to debug, and the platform status page can stay green while the vendor behind your check is down. Didit runs the checks itself, on one contract and one /v3/ API, at a price you can read before you talk to anyone.

Why teams switch

3 reasons teams leave FrankieOne

  • You still pay everyone underneath

An orchestration layer adds its own platform fee and an undisclosed margin on top of each supplier's per-check price. FrankieOne's own data-source licence page asks customers to accept the end-user terms of every vendor they are routed to.

  • Weeks to integrate, not minutes

FrankieOne's own documentation puts custom hosted flows at 3 to 6 weeks and embedded components at 2 months or more, and sandbox credentials are issued by support rather than by signing up.

  • You inherit the weakest supplier

When the vendor behind a check goes down or throttles, the orchestrator's own status page stays green and your onboarding still stops. Its documentation says downstream vendor rate limits can constrain effective throughput.

Side by side

Every price shown here comes from each company's own public pricing page or published listing. Where a vendor does not publish a rate, the cell says so.
