Didit vs FrankieOne: one platform or an orchestration layer
Didit vs FrankieOne from public pages: checks Didit runs in one platform and one API against routing to third-party vendors, who controls the flow, published per-check prices, KYB, monitoring, wallet screening and agents.

In short
Didit runs its checks in its own platform, under one data model, one API and one account, returns the full evidence on every check and publishes a price for each one. FrankieOne describes itself as an orchestration platform that connects you to third-party verification vendors and data sources, and manages the vendor relationships and routing for you.[2][11]
- FrankieOne's docs say customers cannot select vendors, configure routing rules or define fallback logic through the API; routing rules are set by FrankieOne.[2] On Didit you build, branch and price the flow yourself in the workflow builder.[30]
- FrankieOne's pricing URL serves a sales enquiry form, and its docs say costs vary with vendor selection and contract terms.[2][4] A full Didit KYC check is $0.33 at list price.[11]
- Didit's Investigator agent reads each case waiting for review and writes a cited report, Copilot builds workflows by conversation, and your own agents operate Didit through MCP. FrankieOne's documented MCP server searches its documentation.[10][25][27]
This comparison is for banks, fintechs and crypto exchanges on an orchestration layer, weighing who runs the check, who routes it and what it costs.
FrankieOne sells an orchestration platform that routes KYC, KYB, AML and fraud checks to third-party vendors through one API.[1] We build Didit, so read this as our side. Every FrankieOne fact below comes from FrankieOne's own public pages, read on 25 October 2026, and each one is cited.

One platform or a router over vendors
FrankieOne's developer docs say it is an orchestration platform that connects you to a global ecosystem of verification vendors and data sources through one integration, and it manages all vendor relationships, routing logic and data-source selection on your behalf.[2] Liveness and face matching come from connected vendors and require vendor configuration; document support depends on the vendors configured.[2]
The contract follows the routing. FrankieOne's data-source licence page asks the client to agree to the licence of each data source it uses and to observe the end-user obligations under each one.[3]
Didit takes the other route. Document reading, liveness, face match, device and IP analysis, AML screening, KYB and transaction monitoring are Didit modules, under one data model and one API. Database checks use registries Didit has integrated directly in Latin America and Spain, and a global identity network Didit fronts in other countries; either way you order them, read them and pay for them as Didit checks.[22] Wallet screening runs on blockchain-analytics providers, but you order it, read it and pay for it in the same Didit account. Partner modules you add from Didit's marketplace may carry their own terms. Every Didit session decision returns each check's result, the extracted fields, the capture images and videos, and the warnings behind the decision, through one API call.[12]

Who controls the routing
FrankieOne's developer docs list what customers cannot do through the API: select specific vendors, configure routing rules, define fallback logic or control the data-source cascade. Routing rules are set by FrankieOne based on your requirements, and changes to vendor configuration require coordination with FrankieOne.[2]
| Change you want to make | On Didit | On FrankieOne |
|---|---|---|
| Add or remove a check | Edit the workflow and publish[30] | Vendor configuration is coordinated with FrankieOne[2] |
| Change the order or a fallback | Add a branch; branches can merge back into one path[30] | Fallback logic cannot be defined through the API[2] |
| Know the cost of the change | Each step's price shows while you build[30] | Costs vary with vendor selection and contract terms[2] |
Pricing: a public price list against an enquiry form
Didit publishes a list price for each module, with database checks priced per country, and charges a session only for the checks it runs. A full KYC check (ID verification, passive liveness, face match, and device and IP analysis) costs $0.33. AML screening is $0.20, wallet screening is $0.15 a check, transaction monitoring is $0.02 a transaction and business verification is from $2.00 per business.[11] The full list is on the Didit pricing page.
FrankieOne's /pricing URL shows no prices.[4] Its developer docs say actual costs vary with requirements, volumes, geographic coverage, vendor selection, contract terms and custom configuration, and point you to a FrankieOne representative for pricing.[2] Hosted OneSDK carries an additional fee.[5]

FrankieOne's pricing URL opens a new-customer enquiry form; no prices are shown. Read 25 October 2026.[4]

Agents that do the review work
Didit is agentic: it automates fraud and compliance work so a small risk team covers far more volume. The Investigator agent reads each verification, transaction alert or case waiting for review, writes a report with a recommendation and cites every piece of evidence it used. It decides on its own only within the policy and autonomy level your team sets, it never files a regulatory report, and every action is logged.[27] It runs on Didit's Growth plan and above, Didit enables it per organization, it is not available in sandbox, and it costs $0.20 per reviewed item. A support agent answers your users' support conversations from $0.02 per message.
Copilot works inside the Business Console. Describe the verification flow you need and it builds a validated draft workflow, citing the documentation it used; it also creates questionnaires and database validation steps by conversation.[29] Publishing requires your confirmation, and when it edits a workflow, a change card lists what changed and Undo reverts it.[28]
Your own agents connect through Didit's hosted MCP server at mcp.didit.me, over OAuth 2.1 with Log in with Didit, so there is no API key to paste.[25] An agent can create, backtest and install transaction-monitoring rules, then hand them to you in test mode, and it can explain why a session was declined by tracing the warning, status rule or reviewer override behind it.[26]

FrankieOne documents a public MCP server that gives AI coding assistants access to its documentation, API references and integration guides. The tool it documents, SearchFrankieone, searches that knowledge base; MCP tools that act on entities, checks or workflows are not documented on FrankieOne's public pages (checked 2026-10-25).[10]
Transaction monitoring and wallet screening on the same identity
FrankieOne does offer transaction monitoring, and its page describes connecting to best-of-breed transaction-monitoring tools through its OneAPI.[7] On Didit the same identity that passed KYC is the one being watched. Didit scores transactions against real-time rules at $0.02 a transaction[11] and opens alerts and cases in the same console as the KYC record.[13] Didit ships over 150 preset transaction-monitoring rules, and you can backtest a rule against your own history before you switch it on.[14][15] A flagged transaction can be held until the user takes one selfie, matched to the face they already verified.[16] Didit drafts SAR, STR and other FIU reports from the case and exports them as goAML XML and PDF for your filing.[17]
Didit screens any crypto wallet address on demand for $0.15 per check, with a signed PDF report, and exchanges Travel Rule data in IVMS 101.[18][19] FrankieOne's crypto page lists blockchain analytics among the checks its integration covers; a wallet-screening product, its vendor or its price is not documented on FrankieOne's public pages (checked 2026-10-25).[8] Didit can also turn ongoing AML monitoring on for up to 1,000 customers in one API call.[32] The transaction monitoring page has the detail.

KYB with a KYC for every owner, in 220+ countries
Didit's business verification checks the company in registries across 220+ countries and territories, and you choose per country how much registry data you buy: company profile, shareholders, or ultimate beneficial owners. Business verification is priced from $2.00 per business.[11][21] Didit checks each declared owner and officer against the company's own documents, then screens them and sends each one a linked KYC.[20]
- The companyRegistry check and entity AML
- OwnerBeneficial ownerConfirmed, screened, linked KYC
- OfficerDirectorConfirmed, screened, linked KYC
- HoldingParent entityShareholder data where the registry holds it
- Owner
One business verification, one KYC per person behind it.[20]
FrankieOne runs KYB too: its business-verification page states checks against 165+ business registries and KYC of associated individuals in 50 countries, through 350+ data sources.[9] On Didit the owner's KYC runs on the same checks as any other user, across 14,000+ document types.
Government and authoritative database checks, per country
On FrankieOne, government sources such as passport, driver-licence and national-ID databases, birth and death registries and electoral rolls reach you through the vendors FrankieOne configures.[2] Direct government connections are not stated on FrankieOne's public pages (checked 2026-10-25).
Didit's catalog documents government and authoritative database checks in 45 countries plus a Global group: a government register in most countries, and a credit-bureau, financial-services, utility or residential file in some. Each entry lists the inputs it needs, the fields it returns and its prerequisites.[22] The checks run inside the same workflow and API as the document and selfie. Where the national register holds a photo, as in Argentina, Nigeria, Panama and South Africa, Didit matches the user's selfie against it.[23] See the database validation page for the list.
| Country | What you send | What comes back |
|---|---|---|
| Argentina, RENAPER | Document number, gender, selfie | Names, date of birth, tax ID, face match score[22] |
| Nigeria, BVN | BVN and a selfie | Names and date of birth, only after the selfie matches[24] |
| South Africa, Home Affairs | National ID number | Register photo to match against the selfie[23] |

Frequently asked questions
What is the main difference between Didit and FrankieOne?
Who runs the check. Didit runs its checks in its own platform, under one data model, one API and one account, with a published price per check. FrankieOne is an orchestration platform that routes each check to third-party vendors and data sources it manages for you.[2][11]
How much does FrankieOne cost?
Prices are not documented on FrankieOne's public pages (checked 2026-10-25): its pricing URL serves an enquiry form, not prices, and its docs say costs vary with volumes, coverage, vendor selection and contract terms. Hosted OneSDK carries an additional fee.[2][4][5]
Can I choose the vendors and routing on FrankieOne?
Not through the API, per FrankieOne's docs: customers cannot select vendors, configure routing rules or define fallback logic, and changes need coordination with FrankieOne. On Didit you edit the workflow yourself.[2][30]
Does FrankieOne have transaction monitoring?
Yes, and its page describes connecting best-of-breed monitoring tools through its OneAPI. Didit runs monitoring itself at $0.02 a transaction, with 150+ preset rules, backtesting and goAML exports for your filing.[7][11][14][15][17]
Can Didit screen crypto wallets?
Yes. Didit screens any wallet address for $0.15 a check with a signed PDF report and exchanges Travel Rule data in IVMS 101. A wallet-screening product is not documented on FrankieOne's public pages (checked 2026-10-25).[8][18][19]
What does the Investigator agent decide on its own?
Only what your team allows. It writes a cited report for each item in review and decides alone only within your policy and autonomy level. It never files a regulatory report and every action is logged. It runs on Didit's Growth plan and above, Didit enables it per organization, it is not available in sandbox, and it costs $0.20 per reviewed item.[27]
Is Didit a good FrankieOne alternative?
Yes. Didit runs its checks in its own platform with full evidence, routing you control and a published price per check.[11][12][27]
